MOIST T - New Transmission Moisture Measurement System

Based on the MOIST system of microwave moisture sensors the new moisture measuring system MOIST T was developped as a transmission arrangement.

Very often it is necessary to measure moisture on conveyour belts or in the material flow through the whole cross-section of material. For non-contacting measurements only sensors can be used, that radiate through the material.

MOIST T offers a microwave based solution for that. Depending on the application MOIST T can be used for transmission measurements in material layers up to 500 mm thick. MOIST T is used in combination with the control unit MOIST CONTROL 100. Transmitter and receiver are mounted with a special clamp and are protected by a plastic cover.

MOIST T works well in several installations. Applications currently realized are moisture measurement in building materials and moisture measurement in waste compost.
